The New Financial Research Institute of Nanjing University was jointly established by SME and the Mathematical and Financial Center of Oxford University in December 2015. Relying on the research strengths of both China and the UK, the institute works on academic research in the field of financial innovation and, at the same time, carries out the joint education of Master of Finance, sending SME’s master’s students to Oxford University to take five short-term courses every year, combined with regular invitation of Oxford University professors for lectures at Nanjing University.
