SME has undertaken over 100 research projects, including those funded by the Major Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the Major Program of the National Social Science Fund of China, the Key Program of NSFC, the General Program of NSFC, and the Young Scientists Fund of NSFC. SME has also conducted more than 300 horizontal research projects, with total research funding of more than 100 million yuan.
